The worst game I've ever played.
A 2D music-based platformer game that's too hard to be worth playing, and still has the audacity to use that as their marketing scheme. The newer player has no way to improve quickly to be on par with the current community's skill, and with the new level present in the current Update 2.2 - Dash, it goes too far in terms of sightreadability, thus generates severe hatred towards the game.
Talking about updates, the game used to be updated rather constantly, with updates from between 1.9 to 2.1 taking just a while but still reasonable for these updates. However, from 2.1 to 2.2, the developer took SEVEN YEARS to deliver it, and in my opinion, the update is subpar in quality as now the game is too complicated to even make any sense.
"What about the community?" you ask. UNFUNNY JOKES EVERYWHERE! I can't check out the Recent levels tab without seeing those God forbid "lobotomy" levels, and all the "Congregation" and "Dash Spider" jumpscares. The community outside of the game isn't better either, seeing as every week you see a popular celebrity turn out as a children lover (In all the wrong ways possible.)
Now, I am a Christian, so seeing how the game implements a "difficulty system" to their levels with the hardest ones being called "demons," and how you can "beat" them, makes me slightly happier that we can fight the scum we call these red goblins demons. That has to pump up the ratings up a liiiitle bit, but don't be so optimistic there, fam.
Conclusion: the game is too hard, updates take forever, the community is corrupted with no signs of getting better, and overall it makes me want to puke just by seeing it on Steam charts. In my opinion, don't buy it, even for the low price it technically has. Use your money on something you find worth it, like colorful thigh highs.
