I am of the belief that both Dragon's Dogma 1 and 2 are games you need to play and fully complete to know if you like them or not. they are both so wholly unique and magical in their own ways it breaks my heart to know people will just see "mixed" and never try EITHER of the games. I am of the opinion that the 1st game is just a bit more 'magical' than the second one for reasons that both make no sense and I could go on about hours for. If the bad press or steep price makes you not wanna buy this game, at least give Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen a full go. And I mean full. I thought that game was complete ass when i first picked it up and it slowly rose in my mind until I got to the end where it became one of my favorites of all time. This was kinda more about 1 than 2, but no review of either of those games could fully encapsulate why I love them both or why you should or shouldn't play them. So, please do. Even if you hate them you'll probably learn something about what you like and why along the way
