So, after first discovering this game due to a youtube video, I decided to buy it and was, quite frankly, overwhelmed by it. It took several other videos (how to start in Rimworld...) and quite some time to raise my ingame skill level and understanding to finish/save my first colony.
After that I decided to try out a few mods...and soon a few mods turned into a full overhaul and yeah, this is what makes Rimworld so great for me. Countless different stories to tell and endless replay value. It was also "interesting" to experience, how far a friendly colony can be turn into an automated labour camp to produce tea (and occasionally organs)...
