Eternal Atake

Eternal Atake is the second studio album by American rapper Lil Uzi Vert.[3][4] After being initially announced in 2018, the album was released on March 6, 2020 through Generation Now and Atlantic Records.[5] The album was supported by the singles "Futsal Shuffle 2020" and "That Way". The album features a guest appearance from American singer Syd.

Symere Woods published two messages to Twitter, "Eternal Atake" and "Eternal means forever. Atake means 2 overtake", that were described as cryptic.[6] On July 31, 2018, which was also Wood's 24th birthday, he removed all posts from his Instagram profile except for two—a snippet of "New Patek" and the cover art of Eternal Atake.
As promised - the keys to Eternal Atake are here again in Luv and Rage (The UFO 2) as Lil Uzi Vert and his father 2000 years ago

is a phrase placed at the bottom of the album's cover art.[7][8][9] The cover art for Eternal Atake references cult Heavens Gate.[10] The art was the source of a threat from the two remaining members of the organization over legal attack.[11] On December 9, Uzi confirmed that Eternal Atake had been finished and was set for release.[12]

On January 11, 2019 Woods announced via Instagram that he had "deleted everything" and was "done with music",[13] although many believed this could merely have been a publicity stunt and/or a promotional roll-out for the album.[14] He later returned a few months later with two new singles that were released on April 9.[15] On May 13, Woods said he had finally completed the album.[16] On March 4 2020, Woods revealed a new album cover on Twitter, after allowing fans to vote on the new cover.[17]
