Thx for kind words but tbh I was weak killer in that match, didn't know that you can't achieve Michael's Enemy Within lvl 3 by staring one guy only.

"around 1.75 seconds"

That's my point! That's >=5x longer than it should take. It's been a while, but I suppose it's possible that it actually was longer when I last played.

I don't think Dying Light is a good game. I list some of my issues in a Discussion titled "Dying Light Bait & Switch".

I'm judging ArmA 3 as an FPS experience. There are just things that I consider it more important to simulate, and those that I don't. Or maybe it's more that I'm not as willing to overlook the clunky core/movement mechanics in order to experience everything else that it has to offer.

"When my character performed a five-stage animation spanning several seconds in order to go prone"

Just timed it in-game and it takes around 1.75 seconds to go prone or get back up. :steammocking:

"it's apparently focused around aspects that I find less important."
If we compare to example Dying Light, Shadowgrounds and Skyrim (you're most recent activity in Steam according to you're public Steam profile), I can fully agree with you as A3 is only similar with in terms of open-world missions (BI recently published Old Man scenario and community made open-world missions) and zombies as mods and missions made by A3 community.

No, I wasn't referring to ArmA, but to your willingness to develop and pursue specific plans.

I'll probably give ArmA 3 yet another try, but it's apparently focused around aspects that I find less important. When my character performed a five-stage animation spanning several seconds in order to go prone, I was less than satisfied. In reality, when bullets are tearing past a man's head, he's going to drop as fast as gravity permits.
