I'm really loving the game. It scratches the itch of mining underground in pokemon Diamond and Pearl as well as polishing your gym badges so its a nostalgic over load! The character designs are cute and the gameplay is very smooth. My only critique is the soundtrack. It doesnt really fit the game and is very distracting at times so I will be playing it with the background music off which is very disappointing. But other than that its a fantastic game and thats just a personal preference!

Having played all of Escape Sim 1 I will start by saying that the fact that you cannot equip hats you find in this game is really disappointing. The charm seems a bit lost compared to the first. It also seems like the escape rooms are more geared towards single player gameplay as I often found myself or my friend standing around while one of us figures out the puzzle in a room. In the first game it felt more balanced and we didnt find ourselves waiting around as much as with this one.
The puzzles are good and the environments look nice but there are some things about the original game that make this one feel a little more empty and sterile. Over all I'm happy with it but seeing that the splash art on the steam page was very obviously done with Ai is very disappointing so I'm hesitant to throw more money at it.
If you enjoyed the first game then you'll probably enjoy this one just be aware that its less charming than the first.

I love Rise! Ive played MH3, MH4, and MH World and Rise is by far the easiest to pick up! I love the crafting system, the reward system, and the gameplay! Speaking of gameplay, this MH is the quickest to get used to. Other monster hunter games I feel suffer from awkward controls which make it harder to get into but Rise is not hard to adjust to if youre used to playing other rpgs. Progressing also seems more easy. The game is also beautiful! Cut scenes and the soundtrack set a tone for every monster you encounter and it feels fresh every time. It doesnt feel like a mundane grind like some other jrpgs and the rewards are much more manageable. Highly recommend to new players and MH vets alike!

Would I reccomend the game to new players who have never played zoo tycoon? Sure, but for players of the older tycoon games? Not so sure...
I was/am a huge fan of the OG zoo tycoon series. Being hopeful and nostalgic I purchased Planet Zoo. As far as the game is concerned, the graphics are great, the game runs smoothly and overall is a nicely made game. There are some major downsides that have actually made me regret buying the game.
There are not nearly enough animals in the game. I understand today's gaming industry with all of the DLC and extra paid for content but the base game has hardly a fraction of the animals from other zoo tycoon games which a huge downfall as that was one of my main reasons for buying the game. The menus are frustrating and you cant open multiple windows ie. having your zoopedia open while while having another menu open would be awesome. Every time you open your zoo stats and animal list it resets your whole list and where you were when your menu closed so you have to scroll down and put in the filters over and over again. I just wish it would place hold and save filters when you exit the animal menu so its not bringing you back to the top every time as placing animals this way is hugely irritating. Also not being able to sort by region/country is super annoying.
I just wish that the dlc you buy for this game would come with at least 30+ new animals instead of a measly 5-10 of new and re-skinned animals.
On another personal note, I like the animal trading centre set up with adopting animals but it is super limiting in what you can adopt and how regionally limited it is. For example if you want to adopt 15 flamingos you have to adopt the ones available, leave them in the trading centre until there is more and then do that over and over until you finally have enough. Idk its just an extra step that fulls unnecessary instead of just being able to plop 15 flamingos down at one time.
