I've played For Honor since the 2nd last open beta back in January 2017. I've watched it go from one of the most hyped games in recent years, to everyone i know trashtalking me because i say the game is good, even with the issues.

The way the devs handled For Honor is the same way as Rainbow 6: Siege. One year later they've fixed all the problems, and they're actively communicating with the community to give us what we want. The prices on steel is still quite outrageous, but there are many ways to get steel for free through the weekly and daily challenges. Recently they've focused on reworking the original heroes, to keep them up to the quality of the most recent ones.

This has become a really good game, and even though the sour taste of past mistakes are still present, they're improving every year.
