The game is pretty broken but it's very funny

Edit: This was before the 'progression' update. They've gone *backwards* in terms of established concepts of game design and theory. New Players now experience the greatest challenge: ghosts with harder to determine indicators, and equipment that straight-up lies to you. As you grind on the same handful of maps over and over you gradually get access to more functional equipment, but the ghosts don't get harder. Progression doesn't bring more interesting scenarios or challenges, it unlocks the basic playable version of the game. If the devs were competent, new players would be learning the tells on easier ghosts, before building on that base understanding to hunt more dangerous, obscure ghosts and that's just not how it's set up at all.
