In it's current state, I cannot recommend this game. There's too many issues that make this game more annoying than fun. While I see the potential of it, I feel like there is a lot of work needed. I only play the PvE aspect of it as the PvP is not fun at all so what I put in my review is tailored more towards PvE.

Below is a list of things that need changing.
1.) Sound design. For a game that's supposed to be brutal and more realistic, I have trouble figuring out where the enemy is. They don't patrol so you don't have the benefit of footstep audio, and when they speak, it can sound like they're a mile away. The audio cuts in and out making it annoying to deal with enemies in a gunfight or even exploring the world. The guns sound terrible. It feels like I'm listening to COD Black Ops guns with how bad they sound. All the guns sound the same from a 5.56 to a 12g shotgun and it makes all the guns feel weak which leads me into my next point.

2.) Guns feel weak as hell. I can understand wanting enemies to make it seem like they aren't glass cannons, but they can take more bullets than my own character, and they aren't even wearing body armor. I've put 12g slugs into a dude's heart, twice, and he still auto aims on my head. My character acts like he's never held a rifle as his aim sway is so intense at the start of your playthrough.

3.) Performance issues are a major problem and have resulted in most of my deaths. The game will hard buffer and the AI aren't affected and I have a high end system running the game at medium settings.

There will be more problems as I play the game, but these are the major ones I have found and want these addressed. I can see this being way better than Tarkov, but it needs a lot of work until it can get to that point

The SWAT 4 of the modern era

This game is worth it in every way. Totally worth the price and still holds a lot of fun. Only downside is that you won't be as invested in the story if you haven't played the whole Yakuza series (1-6) and Like a Dragon Yakuza.

I put more effort into shaving my balls than the developers put into making this game

This game managed to get me a girlfriend with it's insane ability to get me so bored that I would go workout more

If you want a good experience after a bunch of mediocre games, then you will have a blast with this game. Being a long time Dead Space fan, I was hesitant to pick up this game as I thought it would be another cash grab by the overlords known as EA, but I can confidently say that this game respects the original game with improvements. The story is pretty much the same with some slight deviations on certain characters and the twist. I'm glad that they got the voice actors to come back and reprise their roles especially Gunner Wright who nails it again as Isaac Clark. New limb degradation helps you identify which limbs you're dealing the most damage to which helps more against the ubermorphs towards the end of the game.
Now there are bugs as I encountered a few with me getting into areas too fast causing the game to desync and put me at an infinite loading screen or the game will glitch me into an unnecessary OOB spot having me load a previous autosave. Also, make sure to play this game on an SSD like it recommends as playing on an HDD will cause desync that will not let you progress.

Overall 9.5/10 (It gets bonus points for reintroducing the Hand Cannon after beating impossible mode)

I will put as much care into my review as much as Activision/Infinity Ward puts into their game.
Game gets real boring real fast considering I'm getting more drip fed content for the part of the game I don't care for instead of the part of the game I put $70 into. I've lost all motivation to even care about the game let alone any "content" they put out in the future. Go play MW2019 if you want to have more fun with multiplayer.

Great game and Great story. I've always loved the God of War series and considering I never got to play this on PS4, I was happy to finally play this on PC. Now I shall wait for Ghost of Tsushima and my collection will be complete
