1st hour of a run: All the gods have come together to kick your ass.
3rd hour of a run: You become God and decide to casually kill an entire planet.

The only reason people play this game is because there's basically nothing else like it. playing as dinosaurs, growing from hatchling to adult, fighting other players as dinos; It's great. However the game has so many problems that if another developer made a similar game with even the slightest amount of effort, people would flock to it and The Isle would be forgotten. The game has been in early access for 2 years and yet they've added/changed things only very little and problems still persist. You could spend 7 hours growing your Rex only for it to be killed by a single raptor because you don't have the turning radius to turn around and fight back. Night in the game is basically time to go afk for 20 minutes because night vision only reaches about 30 feet unless your a dilophosaur. Hit boxes are broken and inconsistent. You can get stuck in parts of the floor. The game balance just doesn't exist. Raptors are both stronger and faster than dilos so if you encounter one as a dilo your basically just dead right there. Ceratosaurs get bodied by almost every creature in the game. The AI in the game sometime just wont ever spawn anywhere near you and you starve to death and alot of the AI just freeze in place whenever they spot you or you attack them. The only good thing I can say about the game is that it's unique and that's why I played it for as long as I did. If another similar game was released it would be almost certain to be better than this.
