I can't believe I've not reviewed this game yet but here we go anyway!

Valkyria Chronicles is (In my opinion) one of the most unique Turn based/third person shooter hybrid games I have ever played. I hate most TBS games but this delivers it in a unique way that makes it fun.

I love the BlitZ gameplay engine.

The graphics are... Old... But I dont really care about that because of the artstyle. it makes the world look animated but also alive.

The story is wrold war 2 in an alternate historical Europe, mainly in a small country called Gallia. The empire (Nazi Germany) invades to take the special resource of ragnite to fuel their war effort. Squad 7 is tasked with fighting them off and saving their country.

This game WILL hit you in the heart a couple of times. I won't say what happens but
1: I should have seen it coming.
2: What happened caused me to not play the game for... about 2-3 years.
This game will show you the horrors of war in an Anime esque fasion but will not hold back punches.

10/10 game. Will get traumatised and cry for 3 hours straight again
