A short and interesting RPG built around an extremely tiny set of attacks you have to build together.

Getting the big negative out of the way, some parts of the game are way too difficult. The battle system I didn't have too much of an issue with myself, but later on the game has some frustratingly tight platforming segments that shouldn't be this hard for an RPG that controls like an old Pokemon game. Also there's a side game that's just awful, but it's optional.

Other than that, it's a pretty solid game with decent music. I wish there was a bit more to the story, but what's there works for what it is. I'd definitely recommend playing the easier mode if you have arthritis or have difficulty doing specific fast inputs.

The game is still in Early Access? The game says it's version 0.25, there's no options menu, and several parts of the main menu are non-functional/to be added. You can't even start a new game, only continue your current save.

The actual gameplay is interesting, but those major issues and non-disclosure of the game's current state make me unable to recommend it. I'll change this review once those issues are fixed.

Very wacky action game. Neat mechanics, art style, and a very goofy cast of characters. I've seen it described as a DMC-like, and it definitely has a lot of moves from those games, but it's not insanely deep like those games, and doesn't play quite the same, either. This is a more simple ride, and for $20 I'd say it's still very much worth it.

If I had one gripe, I'd say it's pretty easy, and you can only go up to Normal difficulty until you beat the game first. Also, the default button mapping isn't the best, but it has complete remapping support, so I'm not going to count that as a con. The graphical presentation is rough around the edges in a few places, but nowhere near bad enough for me to mind, especially with the game's small budget.

One warning: You can select both player characters from the start of the game, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND playing Asaru's campaign first. I can't explain why without spoilers.

It seems like an okay experiment, but there really isn't a lot here to justify $5 unless you're really gonna keep replaying over and over and over.

Very great time travel story with cool setpieces wrapped in a pretty solid third person shooter. It also has a whole live action mini-series in it that changes based on your game choices, which kind of kills the pacing but it's neat to watch.

It's not a bad game, but it's pretty boring. Same Lego formula as the first two Lego Star Wars games, but the combat's more frustrating due to not being able to block bullets, and you need to kill enemies to get their (temporary) ranged weapons if you don't play as a ranged character in free play.

I'd say only get this if you're a huge fan of the first three Indiana Jones movies and have a co-op partner to play it with. I'm the former, but I played solo.

I have an unavoidable stutter bug with this game, and the only apparent fix involves running Task Manager every time the game starts and turning off EAC/multiplayer. Apparently it happens with newer Intel CPUs like 11th gen Intel and up, so if you have one of those, avoid the game for now.

EDIT: as of Version 1.02, I'm hearing that the CPU stutter bug has not been fixed. I will delete this review or leave a thumbs up once the bug has been fixed.

This review has been updated now that there is a map! Originally I didn't recommend this because I didn't think the world layout was coherent enough to memorize without one, so this update really helps.

This is a short but sweet search action platformer type game with a low-fi art style that's really charming. It also has VERY extensive shmovement tech that should be really fun if you're into speedrunning. It's already fun for me as a casual player.
