Dead by daylight is one of those games that you either love to hate or that you hate to love, personally I feel both equally. I love this game so much for what it tries to do and for what it means to me, this game helped me out be giving me something to focus on when I was having rough days, and the stories and lore have given me countless hours of thinking and reading that have made me appreciate the devs for their attention to detail and all the heart and soul they pour into this game, but I still can't stand to play it some times. The way this game is build for some reason likes to spark a lot of toxicity in the community and it can sometimes bring you down to feeling like you're the worst player in the world, not to mention that the developers seem to put more time into lore and artwork then they do into making proper balancing for the maps and perks on both killer and survivor alike. Almost every map is either survivor sided or killer sided except for a small few maps that don't even reach double digits, that along with how the game play itself due and some hotboxes being a little buggy"although that's only a really minor complaint" it can really feel like the whole match is against you even if you're survivor or killer. But to honest I do think this game is really worth playing to an extent, and if not for the public matches and the toxicity that always seems to overtake anything positive in the community then for playing with friends and people you care about. I think this game is something special and that it honestly just needs a bit more work. 7 out of 10 would recommend.
