Police stories is an excellent game and my buddy and I love it to death.

However, the Academy was a terrible follow-up to such an amazing game. It felt like zero effort was placed into improving upon any mechanics or innovating at all. Its an identical copy to the first game with nothing to add and a small pool of 3 story missions that have terrible dialogue too (for those interested in the story).

Im not saying its unplayable, its still the same, fun game to play and nothing is wrong with the Academy at a fundamental level. But if youre going in expecting a sick dlc follow-up to the first game with new mechanics, tools, tactics and more challenging gameplay then make sure you're managing your expecations with this one especially if you came to it AFTER police stories.

If you're playing this as an indicator about whether you'll like police stories then trust me the main game kicks absolute ass and is so much fun to play with a friend!

This is the best game ive played in a while when it comes to level of detail.
I am an extreme gun enthusiast and i LOVE guns especially the AK and 1911 and thanks to world of guns i know know how to field strip both of them. And on top of that i know all the firing mechanisms and stuff.

i would highly recommend this games to anyone that is fond of guns. And by fond i mean you want to learn about them not just fire them.
If you are like me please i urge u to give this game a try and plus its free so what can you lose?

This game blew me away it is a mod for half life and is pretty old but still has populated servers and a good fanbase for a free mod it takes tactical gameplay and teamwork to new levels. this game shows why you should rush out into the field because it is a one shot kill head and chest. this proves why you never stick your head out in a gunfight. also the community is very kind, you will feel an immediate sense of comradery with your team mates you can call out commands and people actually listen.

all in all this game is a welcome change from the typical fps these days and i would recommed you get this mod soon

best stealth experience you will ever have use your mind for it is your most valuable tool in this game if you have extra $$$ in your account i suggest u spend on this game :)
