Best tutorial I've seen in a fighter (coming from a person that generally doesn't like such games, for my own reasons), along with some interesting characters on a slowly growing roster, with more to be added for free, provided they're picked up within two months of when they go up. No other fighters in particular I can recommend besides this and Divekick, perhaps DoA and SC off-Steam, which may be saying something.

Not much to say about this one besides the great art and music, good voice acting, and overall fun, fast-paced and, for lack of a better word I can think of at the time, busy (in a good way) combat. Besides that, plenty of exploring to do, abilities to get, and secrets to find, inclusive of homages to other games, in this Metroidvania-style game.

Very simple but otherwise very tense fighting game; if there's a game to get into fighters with, it's probably this or Skullgirls. Two buttons make things easy to learn (though controlling the menu with just them can be slightly annoying), there's a fair amount of character variety, and all in all it's good (though as I mentioned, quite tense, considering the constant threat of OHK) fun.
