As long as I stay in our rooms, I'll be safe. As long as I don't go outside, I'll be safe.

An interactive movie with a deep story that some people might understand and love, while some others will give it a pass. John was born in a bunker, living all of his life there with his protective mother. After so many years, he became the only survivor, going through his daily routine of checking the supplies, radiation and taking his medication, John lived the rest of his years like this, until one day when his routine was disturbed and a chain of unfortunate events begins.

I loved the story, I didn't see the twist coming which eventually made everything make sense. The acting was very good, especially the main character John, he portrayed a man who listens to his mother's words blindly and couldn't do anything without her around and can't escape the dark past. He captured the character with all its emotions well.

The game doesn't have lots of puzzles, its more like an interactive movie that asks you to go from a place to another to pick up things and enjoy watching the outcome. There are no choices except for the very last scene. However, there are collectibles you can spot around the areas you are visiting.

If you explore more in the game and read the documents, listening to the recordings, you'll get an idea about how life used to be and may wonder what happened to everyone, it does give an insight about what is going on.

Pros:
+FMV game.
+Good story with a twist.
+Well done acting.
+Jumpscares.
+Steam achievements.

Cons:
- No choices and consequences except for the very last scene.
- Quite short.
- No manual save. (If you fail in a certain area, they'll restart you from the last checkpoint.)

I love FMV games, although this one is short and it is more of an interactive movie, I still recommend it to people who love deep stories, games that will make you think about once you finish it and piece everything together. I can't call it a horror game though but it does have a few jumpscares.

it actually takes around two hours to finish it without exploring. It is a good game though.

So the whole game is only 4 hours? Well I guess that can be good, experience something fresh and move on. Might try it out, thanks.

Great review. Good game. I liked this better than Lateshift but Wales Interactive certainly know their way around this genre.
