A story-rich Hidden Objects game based on the 1860 novel by Wilkie Collins, A mystery story with a Victorian theme. The story starts off with the art teacher Walter Hartright making his way to Fairlie estate, on his way he meets a mysterious woman who is dressed in white. He couldn't shake the thought of who is she, especially that she looked unwell. Later he will meet the girls, Marian and Laura, who he is going to teach them art and to his surprise he found himself forming some feeling to the youngest sister, Laura, alas the girl is already engaged but against her well to one of the Noblemen. Can Walter save the girl and unfold the mystery of this Noble family?

The journal is amazing and rich of information, you can check the profile of each character you meet or been mentioned, as well as the story progress, there is also a section of the family tree. Sadly the map doesn't have a fast traveling function but it does help to navigate through the mansion.

The hidden objects scenes are nice, some of them are well made and some others felt like slapping a couple of objects around, but mostly they were fun. There are few puzzles in the game but all of them are easy to solve. The only thing that I can mention as a real con is the sounds effects. I disliked the sounds they used whenever you find a puzzle, items or solve something.

Pros:
+Mystery story.
+Good but dated artwork.
+Great and full of information journal.
+OK music.
+Good voice overs.
+Good Hidden objects scenes.

Cons:
-Annoying sound effects when you pick items or discover puzzles.
-No fast traveling map.
-No steam achievements.

The game is fully voiced, the voice actors did a good job, there are many cutscenes and some of them long, especially the first cutscene. If you enjoy story-rich casual games try out this one.

Pity about the sound effects but at least the voice acting is good, I always cringe when the voice actors fall flat in their roles.
