A hilarious game and a continuation of the first one Four Last Things. This could be played as a stand-alone, but to understand the characters more it will be more fun to play the first game. The procession to Calvary is a medieval game made with Renaissance paintings, yes, actual paintings belong to real painters.

You play as a knight who is obsessed with killing. The holy war is over however and she is forbidden to kill anyone accept of Heavenly Peter.. or maybe she can kill a man or two. This game has multiple endings depending on how you 'treat' people and how you acquire the items you need in your journey. It is an extremely fun game with outstanding classical music, if you like any track playing in any scene, you can click on the musicians and you'll get a comment on which piece they are playing.

There is a bit of going back and forth and unfortunately, there is no map. Sometimes figuring out what to give the characters can be difficult without a guide. But overall the length of the game and gameplay is fun.

Pros:
+Beautiful Renaissance art.
+Amusing story but not for everyone.
+Classic music.
+Manual save.
+Multiple endings
+Steam achievements.

Cons:
-No map.
-No voiceovers.

This game might not be for everyone. I highly recommend it to people who enjoy dark humor and point&click games.

Gotta think about it :D already have my schedual full for the next months, especially my desire to go through all Assassin's Creed games and write something about each. I'll keep my out for both during the end of the year (maybe Winter sale), might be a nice pickup to play at the start of 2024. :sttanuki:

Great review. And I wasn't aware it had dark humour (a massive plus for me). Actually had this game my radar for a while, but never bought it. Wasn't aware it had a prequel (of sorts). Might check them out both at some point in the future, when I clear the current stack of games I'm going after.

Great review! You're spot on with your comment about some of the puzzles being a bit too obscure. But, I also thoroughly enjoyed this game.
