There are roads in Kentucky that take you unknown, weird places if you allow yourself to go there. This game is a shortcut to those places wherein you don't need your imagination irl...instead the devs have done all the work for you. Enjoy the surreal, enjoy not having to work for strange magic, enjoy Ky. Rte. 0 ;-)

Btw, if you are ever in the area of Mammoth Cave, do try to visit Pig, Ky - there's an amazing BBQ joint with the most perfect fried catfish and hush puppies...I was literally dragged back to my grandmother's house in a weird space/time continuum...so when I speak of this game, I know whereof I speak ;-p

Update: Act V finally arrived! But remember to check out the extras like "Here And Along The Echo" at http://kentuckyroutezero.com/here-and-there-along-the-echo/

Well done review, Momo. Thanks...I've looked at playing this game off and on. I grew up not so far from KY... Cannot decide if I want to revisit that or not. But Kentucky is beautiful! I also went to uni there.

Sorry to hear that Tito! :-( I've only played Act I and a bit of Act II - decided to wait until all five acts were finished and do a marathon play-through.

Have you had ayny problems with save files in this game? I have had 3 saves corrupt since I have tried playing this. One in Act 3 and twice in Act 2. After the 3rd one I decided to just quit playing and wait until it was fixed, or they finished Act V. I never found a solution to it either while I played, and I wasn't unique in having this problem. I think I figured out that saving on the map didn't actually work, or corrupted the file, but I'm pretty sure I saved in an actual location and lost it still anyways.

With the amount of exploring the roads trying to find all the locations I did while playing it was extremely frustrating to lose my saves like that. It really forced me to give up not wanting to wander around all those huge interconnected roads at such a slow pace and go through every location, which I had already seen 3 times already. :(

Never been, but this game has made me want to go :). I haven't played much, but it's hauntingly nostalgic in a very magical way (my opinon of course!). Your nice little review reinforces those feelings :). CHeers!

Did you get the "I've been to Pig, KY" t-shirt? You should have.
10/10 would wear again.
