Rise of the Tomb Raider is a great improvement over it's predecessor!

POSITIVES:
+ Good story with a nice cast of characters (facial animations are top). The evolution of Lara in this game fits her perfectly. Solid length and replayability.
+ The gameplay offers more variety; action and stealth, more platforming mechanics and tools, a decent system of resources/survival managment, new skills and inventory upgrades. You can also change Lara's outfit.
+ Performance and optimization are okey. Some big areas may drop some FPS here and there.
+ The optional Tombs you can raid have spectacular visuals and good puzzles.

NEGATIVES:
- There are too many collectables/notes along the way. I understand they are optional, but even if you only pick up the ones that are along the way, you have to stop every 5-10 minutes to read/listen for 1-2 minutes, which breaks the pacing. Some are even placed during combat or important story sections.
- The amount of total Tombs is 9.
