When I was two years old I learned about this super cool thing called a computer, and I was never the same afterwards. I played all different kinds of games growing up, my earliest experiences being with numerous child-oriented computer games from the mid-90s. As I got older I started getting a very past-driven personality and developed a hobby and fascination with all sorts of retro electronics, both consoles and computers (but mostly computers). I have built up a fairly sizable collection of old computers, old consoles, and old games. I collect physical PC games as well, and it's grown to a pretty substantial size.

I love games of all different time periods, though personally the mid to late 90s is my favorite era. When it comes to single player games that have a definitive beginning and end, I typically play two at once: one long game and one short-to-medium length game. That said, I really don't use Steam all too often. Most of the time I only use it to play online multiplayer games (TF2 and VRChat are my most common go-tos), or the occasional modern single player game. Since I am very fond of retro computers and retro computer games, I will nearly always opt to play them in their original form whenever possible on the era-appropriate hardware, even if it's been re-released on Steam.
