Very good game, very short but i think if it was any longer it would've overstayed its welcome, atleast from variety perspective, the music is actually beyond outstanding the rhythm aspects work brilliantly i only have 1 gripes with the entire game and 1 missed opportunity imo, one, there is basically each layer of hell has a boss, and i mean that literally, there are 100% gameplay differences and the environment tries to make up for it but it is kind of a shame that each boss is 90% the same and plays 50-60% the same until the last boss that is, the missed opportunity is that there is very little variety in the beat of the gameplay aspect of the songs, the only serious variation being when you use the ultimate from the sword you get, i think if they make the 2nd in the series (which they HEAVILY teased in the story) and fleshed it out a bit more this would be an OUTSTANDING game, as this game is right now, its pretty good with VERY. VERY, good music and a well integrated system, ill be keeping my eye out for number 2 with glee.

Frankly brilliant game, good content updates, smooth combat and lots to do! there is only really one big con i can think about for new players and that's not much is explained so many people will feel overwhelmed, honestly watch a video about starting the game or look up a guide if you are not understanding, it took me forever to work this all out haha. 9/10 nearly perfect

I purchased this game for £1.74 and for people who love TD games its a steal. Currently i have nearly 30h in the game and have not finished it i have been loving it all the time. honestly If you are looking for a good simple yet well designed TD game this is worth the full £6.99 RRP. Also it has a map editor to make and share your own which is always a great addition. I only just found out there is a 2nd game and having nearly finished this i'm 100% going to get the 2nd because if its only just as good as this game it will be worth my time and money!

TLDR: Damn good TD game, worth the full price and im sure as hell going to get the 2nd game.

This is coming from a fan of hammerwatch and the tl:dr is Its pretty good but definatly has flaws, the fact that its less than £10 makes it proberbly worth the price but anyone who wanted a game more in the style of "hammerwatch" atleast in combat and feel this will leave you dissapointed.

Alright lets get in a bit deeper this game changes a fair amount from its previous game not all bad but this is not the same style of game, so dont go in thinking it will be. the combat has become more twinstick-style and suits the keyboard and mouse heavily due to the fact that the changes in ai mean that from the get go bats and bugs are small and move to get you from the sides making it very hard to hit without precision. I dont know if its the coding or what but the way RNG dungeons are created often leads to issues such as starting a level with a single alley to see a load of mobs and a boss blocking you in and trap-alleys leading to nowhere (this can be seen so its just pointless).

So far I am up to the 1st boss and Ill just descibe it rather than tell you my opinions on it (SPOILERS). A large boulder golem, he slams the floor and aoe appears on the ground, she slams the floor and a line of damage appears, that is all the mechanics apart from large amounts of bat mobs enter the arena very quickly with around 10 sec delays on waves.
Now for my opinion: the only think that makes the boss difficult is the mobs he spawns, due to the tiny fast moving hitboxes of the bats unless you have a very good aoe you will just get bogged down by them from the get go. personally I find this very dissapointing.

All in all this is my exp so far. Its alright, if you like RNG duneoncrawlers and twinstick controls I think you will like it with only a few gripes, if you are looking for a game like hammerwatch, I think you may not get exactally what you are looking for.
Final note: Like hammerwatch this game I can imagine being really fun regardless with friends but I have yet to try the online mode hence me not mentioning it until I finish.

I bought this game for 19p this game is worth much more than that. this game is worth much more than the 79p full price, this game has smooth controls an interesting mechanics, the puzzles i found at the perfect difficulty and the sound track kept me in the mood. i reccomend this game.
