I DIDN'T MEAN TO BREAK THE CLAY POT

Fighting is fun, characters are cool, netcode is fantastic, lobbies are horrid in the usual ArcSys fashion.

Bare-bones PC port locked at 30fps but you'll be having too much fun actually playing the game to be bothered by it.

Doesn't have:
- Street Fighter characters
- A cup noodle ad
- ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Negan from The Walking Dead

This is by far the most balanced and polished Soulcalibur game to date, every character is valid and fun to play, and there is so much to learn about each of them and their respective matchups. Easy to pick up and very difficult to master, there is a very thorough tutorial awkwardly hidden inside the Libra of Souls story mode.

Reversal edge is a subtle feature that naturally teaches newcomers who keep getting hit by it to stop mashing buttons, which in turn teaches the player spamming it to think of smarter ways of defending themselves instead. It is a real shame so many people gloss over this and simply see it as a cheap win-button or pure RNG, but at the same time watching all these "professional players" outing themselves by complaining about it is entertaining on its own.

Unoptimized mess

Simple and fun dungeon crawler with emphasis on using as many weapons as you can to learn their unique skills and collecting enough money to purchase those 40 keys you'll need to get through a single dungeon.

Once you do that you go back to your comfy hub-town to give your cute archeologist childhood friend some ancient tablets. In return you'll get some sweet lore and delicious lunchboxes from her, easing your crippled, depressed, and overall crushed ex-soldier mind.

I maxed out intelligence, wanted her to become a scientist. Teacher kept telling her to reject faith in gods and magic and to find a scientific reason for everything instead. She ended up becoming a housewife, turns out I needed more faith.

Keep Mud in your party, he'll prove very useful at the end of the game
