Great game for the bit I've played, however the new update and mandation of a PSN account has made my antivirus flag this game as a virus with / gameinfect from gameguard. I doubt this is too much of a big deal, but I'm making this known for whoever reads and sees this.

As of right now I have to say no, but the game has great potential and hopefully the devs won't abandon it. Here is my reasoning:

Needs better optimization and performance. My pc met and is probably over the specs requirement, yet the game took 3 launches to fully activate, sat on a black screen for 5+ minutes before showing the start up screen, and lagged throughout the menus when a selection was made. Character customization lagged, and when I finally made it into a solo game the world was flat grass for about 5 mins until everything, everywhere, all of a sudden decided to load in. Found a house among little lag, got to the house where my game froze for a few minutes before fixing itself with me being hurt from nothing, I die. Shows AI character that supposedly beat me up. So I quit and got a refund for now because it was unplayable for me.

My point: the game needs a lot of work but I like the style.

played pretty well on steam deck, only crashed maybe 2 or 3 times total for me, after a few hours of constant playtime in single-player. Also each crash was when a grim reaper appeared, imagine that, they couldn't kill me so they decided to kill my game. Now then, for a review: TLDR: Great game, Great potential, Cool story, Permanent unlocks, all this based on my experience and opinion (as most reviews are opinions).

...I saw this game from some content creators, after seeing it appear on my steam page and decided to give it a try, the game plays as expected, a top down "twin stick" shooter type game with more buttons used than just the two sticks. you can unlock multiple characters each with 3 different unlockable abilities (I like this due to it being something permanent to unlock in the game, as well as show progress.) you can also unlock new weapons, talents and abilities to appear in game. Overall it has a lot of potential, and I was not expecting the cool comic book style story it has going on...I loved the art style and the story so far and I hope it can be completed, if not in this game or another, then maybe as a web comic? aside from all of that I did not know this was a sequel, though the first is not in english so I do not know if there was more to the story. Overall great potential of a game, and I look forward to see where it goes. Also, if I could change one thing, I would hope for some more "late game" progression such as permanent perks/buffs that you can turn on/off as you please (kind of like relics in the Risk of Rain series) so maybe some weaker characters can have a starting chance to unlock their extra abilities, I have only played ~6 hours and almost have everything unlocked.

Never really played the original enough to remember what it was like, or what characters were in it, but I'm glad to see it make a return as a free DLC instead of a paid like most games and companies would do. It's also a plus that they took their time to make this at all instead of adding an unfinished mode at release.

pre-ordered the game back when it was first releasing, probably the first, if not only game I played that was (used to be) a pay by month type game. Eventually (idk when because I took a break from paying monthly to play) they made it free to play with optional subscriptions. I really like this game even though I've not once finished a character story arc all the way through and still not beaten any true story simply because I'm lazy. Why do I play then? simple: The game allows you to insert yourself into the star wars universe in many ways.

1. Deep character customization allows you to create your dream character in a star wars universe (though right now weapons are restricted to classes, later this year they seem to be removing that in the form of ranged and melee to my understanding meaning gunner classes can use all ranged while jedi and sith use all melee)

2. "Custom" story as I call it, your character appears exactly how you're customized in cut-scenes, not only that you can have a party of 4 real people players that also appear, interact and even have chances to speak in cut-scenes. Name another game that allows this (No really, I'd like to know cause so far the closest thing to this is "The Ascent, and Lost Planet 2". Lastly on this note, helmets and some masks have a voice over effect (Think like fallout 4's power armor vs non power armor). the interactions are very much like mass effect style (I think this game is made by some of the same people or company?)

3.. RP, the community has a lot of Role-playing (like D&D kind of) if you're into that.

4. Lots of content and updates still being pushed out even now and the games original release date was December, 20th, 2011 (According to google).

5. A decent community, though every game has bad apples I have yet to see much, if any toxicity, best of all I haven't really seen many of those spam bots wanting you to buy currency (So far).

6. Long, detailed stories with lots of NPC partners and romance options (though they are pretty dull and not much aside from a kiss here or there, but hey, this is star wars for many ages, not mass effect for older ages.)

7. Choice. choose to be light or dark side no matter what class or team you choose. you can choose to be the nicest sith to ever exists or the darkest and most brutal jedi.

That's all I can think of for pros right now so here's some cons-

1. Graphics are kind of dated (but on higher quality settings they still look great and in some circumstances beautiful lighting) and animation is kinda stiff/stale. but still yet fun and better than some.

2. Cut-scenes aren't really theatrical or like true Cut-scenes, It's as if they take place during game-play...and they do-ish(?) (no you can't be targeted or killed, at least by NPC's to my knowledge while in one, but you can be seen standing idle by other players and you can see things happening in the background sometimes. Still a lot like mass effects choices but without much "fluid" or theatrical actions/movements.

3. In-game money cap. as a free player your only allowed to hold a little amount of money (more than you'll need in any npc shop but not enough for the GTN (Galactic Trade Network, which is the in-game auction house/player shop) idk exact amounts but lets use examples, Free people (truly FTP players that's never spent a penny on the game) have a cap less than 1mil credits (lets say 500,000) that will probably get you all you need as a free player but still low if you want anything powerful or to buy from the GTN. Preferred status (people who have spent a bit of money, idk how much but I'd say $10 USD or less, or have ever been a subscriber) have a cap os about 1-2mil, thats enough to get some good gear but you still won't be able to buy the best, or relics, or even fancy cosmetics on the GTN with that. Finally subscribers have unlimited cap...So what happens to excess credits as the lower ranks? don't worry, you still get every credit you earn, it just goes into an escrow/bank account until you either A- become a subscriber, or B- buy "bonds" or whatever they're called that lets you withdraw an amount from said escrow (this can pass the caps on lower levels) so basically you have to pay to access all of your ingame money, in one way or another.

Anyway thats all I can think of for now, sorry for that rant at the end, the credit thing is really the only thing I truly dislike about the game.

I want to start by saying this is a good game, and not for the "H" content as I never got that far to play it and never downloaded the stuff needed (more on that later) but game-play in general, it's good, but it's minimal. Survival, gathering, no combat (from what I've seen), and decent building. I'm only "Not recommending" for the price to content. First off $70 USD is a LOT to pay for an unfinished game (which is what this is, more on that as well) and even on the sale when I bought it I feel $55 is also too much, personally I may re-buy the game on a much steeper discount ($30 USD or less) or when they decide to put in all the stuff they apparently kept out of the U.S. release, as well as possibly workshop for the mods. Here is a breakdown of what's included and the hoops you have to jump through for more (which may not be a problem for some people) this is more of a warning for people before the buy it thinking something that's not.

The game can easily eat through the 2 hour mark for refunds if your not careful, it also takes a good 30 minutes to an hour to even get past the first area which doesn't have much at all, 1 camp and 1 merchant. The AI girl you start with is very slow and has an emotionless, monotone voice. the girl does not know how to "have fun" at the start and 90% of the time I tried to get her to do something like help forage or follow or even suggest rest/food she responds with "no" or "I have other tasks to attend to" when shes not doing anything at all. the game has no "Adult content" as is and must be modded to do so, I never made it to the base game "WooHoo" (as sims calls it) so I don't know what to expect there.

So far all I've seen in this base game is forage and gather for materials to make and upgrade tools to do more of that just to build a house and trade to a merchant. The AI girl is like a baby/child and barely if at all knows how to take care of herself at first and thus you must help her learn, which is not really descriptive on how you do so (or maybe I missed that part of the tutorial?).

Now for the important stuff: The games menu is a middle mouse/scroll wheel click. The Escape key makes you exit the game to desktop completely closing it, though there is an auto-save slot it seems non existent. Why you ask? My time played (1.2 hours or 70 minutes at this review time) is all from trying to complete the tutorial area and helping the girl learn and all of that was lost when I finally figured out crafting and hit escape and exited the game by accident. logging back on the auto-save and my save slot was the same, and at the very start of the game, so I lost my progress. There is no base game H content so if that's why you're buying then be prepared to mod a lot or don't.

Why this is incomplete: The main H mod is actually a full patch from the original release that not only adds the uncensored content but adds fixes and a lot of other things a patch would have, such as more content and additions aside from the adult stuff. While downloading it also says it does not include other dlc or paid content (which tells me there's much more then what they're putting on steam) the patch also adds everything needed to mod and all the tools and such. Finally in order to download all of this you either need to pay $5 USD on a patreon (which is fine and understandable to support someone and may be ok for a lot of people) or download a torrent program and download it all by torrent (which I personally do not trust right now but again may be ok for others if that's what they want).

Final Summary: A decent game with too many hoops to jump through to get the entire experience, wait for a fuller release on steam or a large discount. IMO: Not worth the high price for what you get and definitely not worth the extra work to get everything. Again it's a good game at it's core but it need work for the U.S. release and a price drop. I hope this is able to help a few people before they fall into something they may not like.

can't wait for the full release, a sci-fi dark souls game with split screen. what more is there to say?

As I write this, the game has just released a few hours ago, give or take. thus not much time has been given to play, however I have been in the game for 27 minutes and found many flaws and cons, more so than pros. However I am making this a postive review as The game its self seems good, and has a cool art style. (I have yet to play any other BB games thus can not compare.) Also I want this game to succeed and not be bombed by negative reviews (as of right now it seems it has.) right out of the gate, so I'm giving it benefit of the doubt. Here is my thoughts/review keep in mind that some are opinions, such as art styles, etc.:

Pros:
-Cool art style and animations (mainly the opening)
-Classic style fighting game
-Cross over characters
-Story
-The lobby is pretty cool
-Account/Profile customization (lobby avatars in chibi form, banners/name plates, icons, etc.)
-And more to come as I think of them or find them

Cons:
-no keyboard re-mapping yet (and the keyboard is tedious to use, think skullgirls if you've ever played it. for example: "J" is to accept and "K" is to go back/exit, "L,O" is side menu scroll.)
-Apparently no Xbox One controller support, even though the controls for a gamepad is Y,X,A,B (tried one, didn't work)
-Only 2 full animations according to the gallery, which is opening and credits. (wish there were more, like cutscenes or something)
-No Sound (I can here the opening music, and lobby, but during gameplay of the story I heard nothing at all, also the game says full audio in english and japanese, however the only voice I've heard is the intro voice on the start menu that's still in japanese.)
-No Voices (follows above statement)
-and more to come as I think of them or find them

Neutral:
-Some people are complaining of resolution problems, fullscreen problems, etc. I for one have not encounterd any such problems, though I am playing on a decent desktop. So for this I say check your specs before buying/downloading.
-The games story is like a visual novel, and pretty much as you'd expect like any other fighting game story. (think Injustice, you fight a match, hope to win, then the story scene/cutscene plays, in this case its "fight - read" repeat...so far)

In the end I guess the Pros are more than cons, however mostly opinionated, thus may not help.

The game is good...this pack was a lie...the game is almost dead it seems...
I bought this as a founder pack, with the intention that this pack was going off-sale at a later date, much like other people.
Now I see that during the founder faze it was "Maybe?" a bit cheaper (thinking $10-$20 USD cheaper?) maybe not...point is it's now been re-named premium pack 1 and the only difference (other than possible price) that I can see is that founders got a special animated profile avatar pic that was already in the game as an un-animated pic...This pack is worth it if it's on sale or if your a collector. really the only reason I'm giving this a negative review is because this was a lie...
much like the cake...at least the cake was free and you got an achievement.

A great little game that reminds me a lot of Starbound, and in some ways Terraria. Though no where near completed, it offers quite a few hours of playtime, and challenges (meaning the game is challenging, not that there is challenges yet, though there are about 5 or so quests) though this game seems a lot like starbound in terms of graphics and play, it is far different, a more accurate way to compare this game is with Crea, or best off not at all. This game seems very promising even with slow updates (about 1 a month or so) and is unique. You build a town (build with walls to help protect) and go find captured alieans that looks like green Anons. they spawn back at the spawn crystal (make sure you clear all enemies in the area before release or they can die) and the spawn unarmed and wander aimlessly until you give them a job. if they die then they are gone and do not come back.

Pros:

+Building/Crafting
+Morphing (turn into a monster and fight)
+Capture monsters and make them work for you
+Pets
(Only 2 for now you can equip, and you can only spawn one capture at a time, but you may have as many as you like)
+Character and Worlds are seperate (much like Starbound, create a character and use him/her anywhere)
+Enchanting and rarity

Cons:
-Not much character customization yet
-No mounts yet
-Not many quests
-Not many morphs (I WANT TO BE A SPOOKY SCARY SKELETON...that you find in a dungeon, with or without the sword)

-Needs improvements to some morphs (in video the worm has a light around it, in game it does not so you cant see)
-Only 3/4 jobs for freed aliens...needs more such as a doctor
