If you were to ask me to give you a brief description of this game in... lets say five words, those words would be: "Amnesia on steroids on steroids". The way the game uses the lighting and the fact that you have to use the cameras night vision is quite frankly brilliant and can create some truly terrifying moments when your running from one of the people stalking you and you just so happen to be on your last battery. I got through the game in about four and a half to five hours and thats only because I spent a lot of time exploring trying to find all the little documents scattered throughout the asylum. Now that little disclaimer "Outlast contains intense violence, gore, graphic sexual content, and strong language" that is all true, so this game is not for those of a weak stomach, or the easily offended. Because if you are either of those, you will likely not complete this game. For everyone else: why are you still reading this review? It has everything to love in a horror game and you should get it... like right now.
