The isle is actually a damn enjoyable game. The most enjoyable multiplayer experience i've played in a long time. Don't let the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ online community surrounding it get you down. At full price this game is well worth it and it deserves way more attention than it gets.

This game grabbed me by the balls.
One month and nearly 60 hours of first playing I still think of this game near constantly.
I hope to god SoW finds its way back to us.

Nice to know this world still fits like a glove.

Just play the damn thing.

This game is a drug. It starts with you mining by hand. First some stone, then coal, copper and finally iron. then you can build a burner mining drill and a stone furnace, Then you think "hey i can make those automated by adding some inserters in the right places" but now you need a steam engine to get things really working.

Then you remember your surroundings, your mind turns off auto drive and turns back to manual. You find yourself looking down upon an automated machine the size of a province and at first you wonder how someone could make such a thing.
And then it hits you, every detail, every movement. You know what each inch of your assembly line is for. You know which assembling machines produce iron gear wheels and you know exactly how long the conveyor belt is before they are turned into inserters. This is your work, your mind, every single piece of it.
You will be ashamed with how much time you spent on this.
You will be disgusted with how much time you spent on this.
You will consider how much of your life you are missing because of this.
You will realize that if you rearanged your conveyor belts you could produce your green sience 15% faster.
Kiss the next week of your life goodbye.

You should be proud of making such a worth while game. Have owned it for 3 days, 23 hours played already and i still have plans for future sieges.

Remarkable game. I very much encourage you to purchase this game, if you remember "jaws unleashed" and wished there was a little more combat michanics to it then this is most certainly the game for you.
Play as a diver and experience terror more intense than alien colonial marines. Play as a shark and stelth closer and closer until you can strike and devour a diver then sink back into the dark depth of the sea.
This game is most certainly not a complete game, only a handfull of maps and only 2 mods to play, however i totally encourage you to purchase this game, on sale if you can't afford the retail. We need more games like this.
