After Two Hours of playing Rozkol I have to say it is worth the few dollars that they are asking for. It reminds me of a smaller 2D version of Running with Rifles. There are various game modes (6 to be exact) from your typical battle, defense, zombies, and my favorite the "campaign" of the game. In this mode there are various locations and you start off with a small amount of units to distribute among locations. You then can battle in those areas. After each battle (including the non campaign battles) you earn money to buy supplies and more troops. Its a simple game with some bugs but for a couple dollars I think it would be worth it especially if you want to conquer all areas and buy all weapons/ vehicles.

Got this through the expansion pass.

Now this was interesting as you play as Walker as he tries to save Ethan (the main character in the base game)
It was cool to play and showed us a new part of Philly that we didn't get to see in the main game.
There is also a new enemy type and a cool boss battle.

They really did well with this DLC and I think it was worth the get.

Pros
-New enemies
-Neat Storyline
-Cool Metro like mission
Cons
-Same weapons
-very short

Beat it in 2 hours.

Got this through the expanison pass.

Though it is short like many people say it is an interesting mission especially for people like me who love the story and lore of this game.

Pros
-Interesting mission
-Interesting story
-another lovely looking map
Cons
-Very short mission
-nothing new enemy wise

I beat it in around one or two hours but trying to the all the achievements for it I'll probably sink a few more into it. Is it worth 5$? Yea but if its on sale it wouldn't hurt to get it.

So the DLC was fun I will say that but it is also another linear mission.
Took me about 1.5 hours to 2 hours to beat it.
Pros
-It was a fun mission with varied objectives
-The landscape was beautiful
-The map layouts were interesting and very tactical (since I played it on deathwish I noticed they were designed well)
Cons
-Short
-Same enemies
-same weapons

If you like the story, which I do, you will enjoy it and see why this is their last DLC for Homefront the Revolution (which I'm sad that this is the last DLC). I got this through the expansion pass which DOES give you the DLC for free. I didn't see the price but I'd say the price is a bit much for 1-2 hours of gameplay.

TL;DR
If you are a true fan of the game you'll enjoy it though short.
If you were expecting tons of new locations you probably won't.

My first negative review of the Homefront: The Revolution game. ):

Its old, the graphics are old and the mechanics are very arma like (meaning its not like a normal FPS controls) but it is still a fun game with some of the most unique mods available. I bought this game when it was only 80 cents and it has been worth it with the civil war mod and warhammer 40k mods! The base game is also fun but buggy so if you can get past the graphics then you will enjoy it.

So I am a fan of Vietnam games and throughout my time playing video games this one slipped under the radar of mine so I bought it when I saw it was $2.50. I've had a blast.

The Multiplayer Works (with some weird bugs that can be fixed if you validate your cache a couple times).
The Campaign is Fun but be warned this game is HARD!

The graphics are surprisingly good or atleast better than I expected. The camo that your characters wear actually works in game if you use it correctly.

Overall this is a fun Vietnam shooter but be warned it is old.

I played this game during the FREE WEEKEND on steam.

Now the review.
I went into this game excited as I've been watching this game ever since it was announced but was saddened by all the negative reviews. When there was a free weekend I was stoked and tried it out.

First off the graphics are very detailed and the lighting effects are amazing. Just the general atmoshpere is really immersive as you feel like you are living within an occupied city. The story seems a bit far fetched but hey its still a good game.

Secondly I will say that from the time I played it I realise why people were mad about the game as you do need a beefy computer in order to run it but they have released patches to make the game run smoother but since I do not have the game yet I do not know how big of a change this has had. Luckily my computer is beefy and ran the game very well.

So overall I enjoyed it but do admit the game was unoptimized at the time and a slightly beefy computer was required for this game. Once I buy the game I'll update my review to give a more complete review of it.

Normally I don't like phone ports going on to Steam but this is one of the few exceptions. I bought the game on a whim as it was only 89 cents at the time and was surprisingly happy. The graphics style of the game is "cute" and the simple gameplay is quite addicting. I personally like how your units have a name and rank up as they battle through missions. You also can call in support in various ways and even shoot chickens! Another thing you can do is purchase bonuses for your men for the mission like armor, scopes, extra mags and more. If it is on sale I would get it as it is worth the few cents in order to buy it.

I bought Firefight as it reminded me of a game called Close Combat.
But don't think of Firefight as a Close Combat clone because it is its own game!

Pros:
Easy to get into.
Easy Controls.
Unique graphics.
Fun Gameplay.
Many Scenerios. (72 across 9 maps)
Beautiful Handmade maps
"New" Kind of stratedgy.

Cons:
Infantry Graphcis are small and look alike.
If you replay a mission the enemy will be in the same spot.
No Skirmish
No Multiplayer
No Manual/Tutorial

I have to say I enjoy it a lot! It is simple but fun. I have played many wargames like Close Combat (II,III,COI,GTC,LD and more), Men of War, Theatre of War and more. The game has a neat feature during combat where it tells you where your units where hit and by what kinda like a text adventure. Its a cheap game but it is an iOS port. He has promised to improve the game in a varitety of ways (one being multiplayer) and hopefully he will stick to his promise. A good easy to learn game.

After I became intrigued about this game when I heard it was like Little Big Planet, one of my favorite PS3 games. A few questions later and I bought the game. Now 4 hours into the game I am proud to say that I bought this game. It is fun, unique and "never ending" but I'll get to that later.
You create your character from one of the 4 classes. You can customize their skin and even customize it with some cool skins made with the steam workshop. After you do that they drop you into the hub where you will spend a lot of time "praying" to the gift gods and managing your inventory. From here you may go to online mode (multiplayer), go on an adventure or battle the dragon which requires a dragon scroll. Once I beat the developer made levels it started to put me into community made levels which made me nervous but it turns out that the devs don't like garbage levels polluting their game. Which is good. At this point I realised that this game is "never ending" because you can create your own adventures or play other adventures after you played the developer ones.
The level creation tool deserves more credit than it gets as you can do a lot with the triggers and events. Sadly I have not tried to play this with multiplayer so I cannot give a review on that.
Pros:
Lots of good unique levels
Level editor
Character customization
Nice graphical feel
Cons:
I can see how some people can find this game repetative.

Games this is similar to:
Spiral Knights and (barely) Little Big Planet. More so to spiral knights.
