Early Access Review
I'm a little hesitant to recommend this game, but I can't give it a thumbs down because I haven't finished it yet, and the game isn't finished either. All of the elements from the first game are still great, but unfortunately almost all of the new elements suck. The story is uninteresting, the characters are all annoying and unrelatable. Walking around above the surface is tedious and boring...Thankfully the underwater exploration is still fun, and although the map feels smaller than the original's, there are still plenty of surprises. The fear factor is thankfully still present at times but I've yet to experience the panic of the first game. I would pick the game up if you really, really enjoyed the original, but it's a little disappointing as a sequel.

As close to a simulator as an anti grav racing game can get. Challenging but very rewarding and tons of replayability with online leaderboards.

It's hard not to compare it to meat boy. Controllers are similar, but a bit slower and instead of wall-jumping you have ledge-grabbing. Sounds boring, but the levels are designed in such a way that it's a fun skill to master. If you're looking to get all secrets, expect some serious challenge. If you're more casually-inclined, the levels sans tumor-collecting (basically bandages from SMB) provides a balanced experience.

Not the most challenging tracks, but this works in the DLC's favor. When you skip the hairpin turns of Europa in favor of long straights and slight chicanes, you can achieve a very satisfyingly break-neck speed thoughout most of a course. Fortunately, most courses in the DLC are like this. I've found myself returning to these tracks again and again just to test my time trial skills. Highly recommended, even more than the Neptune DLC.

Oh, and the music kicks ass.

Not a perfect DLC, but well worth a purchase if you're a fan of the base game. I was mostly excited for the new ship at first, which unfortunately doesn't seem that great. Looking past that, the tracks are each unique and fresh. The zero-G gimmick is tough getting used to at first but if you've mastered the previous tracks it adds a new dimension to conquer. Buy it.

A fantastic game if you love HP Lovecraft and other Eldritch horrors. Well over 100 hours of gameplay.

I've only spent a little time with this expansion and I'm already thrilled. A must-buy if you enjoy the original.
