Really good story and world building with interesting art and mech concepts. However, gameplay is pretty bad when it comes to RTS style games. Cover selection for units is clunky and almost impossible to get a full squad behind your desired cover. I tried to leave a mobile machine gun at a bridge with the intent to loop back around later when I was ready to make a push. When I returned to the bridge it had disappeared which was a big disappointment and ruined my main strategy. It is hard to group or select a few units so most of the time I would rather just command all troops almost like a mass of men. They introduce bushes for hiding some units but then are never used again. The main character's bear unit is tied to the sniper and as soon as I attack a unit the bear charges in alone. Even when I try to move the unit back only the girl moves backwards. This leads to situations where individual troops get isolated from their support groups so the unit is basically forced to die unless you charge in and save him. Main abilities are hard to tell if used during an engagement and don’t feel satisfying to use. Great concept, poor execution and it shows in the gameplay.
