The GemCraft series has always been at the pinnacle of Tower Defence game design -- and Frostborn Wrath shows how the developer has learned to refine the series' formula.

There are amazing boss fight segments which spice up the gameplay and are great surprises. The skills and talisman provide different approaches to gameplay which can be tailored to a particular challenge.

If I had some gripes it would probably be that the performance can be a bit sub-par on lower spec. hardware and shadow cores/skill points can get a little bit grindy towards the end of the campaign if you weren't already filling out endurance mode and trial mode.

Much recommend -- armour tearing best gem.

Funny ball goblin = great casual fun

Literally my favourite game of all time. Criminally underrated. The story is great, the combat is fun and diverse and the world is about as immersive as it comes. Buy it now
