It's like X-Com meets The Sims meets Sim City, but this time a global apocalyptic event has wiped out all life on earth and instead of managing a city you're managing a spaceship in a sandbox universe filled with hostiles. In other words, it's pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Child of Light is super cute. It doesn't take very long to beat, but the mechanics are really fun, and it's atmospheric and pretty. It's definitely something I'd play with my sister. Play it on a rainy day with a hot bowl of soup and dimmed lights.
