This game had me yelling "oh that's so clever" about eight dozen times. A perfect creepy adventure right when I needed one. Easily in my top five games of all time, let alone game of the year. It deserves all of the praise it gets.

Daughter I'd been grooming for years to take the throne is caught screwing her cousin. Her husband, a count, *immediately* executes her. I imprison him, get the right to execute him for "unlawfully executing family" to which I do. heir is now my grandchild, who now have no parents. The barely 17 year old duels me for "unlawfully executing his father". Kills me, inherits the throne. This happens all in five minutes.

This opener does Homestuck justice. And that's a tall order in of itself.
