Heads up, I have over 300 hours in GW2 off steam. Anything you see on steam is additional.

Without a doubt the best MMO I have ever played. I've done WoW, FF14, OSRS, BDO, ESO, and a few others. Nothing comes close.

The best world design in the industry. The best mounts. A massive world that rewards exploration both in what you find, but also in the progression rewards you get. There is no sub, and nearly everything can be earned by just playing the game. Horizontal progression (in the end game) that honors your time investment.

If I had one complaint, it would be that everything should be earn-able in game as opposed to the cash shop. Currently about 10% of cosmetics are cash shop only. If they changed that it'd be a 10/10.

Really hope they continue in the direction of the latest expansion. The quests aren't fetch-questy or like that of a typical mmo (by that I mean bad). They did a really great job and I hope they will stay in that direction moving forward.

A fantastic game, and worthy successor to the first.

While souls-inspired, I would not think of this as a souls-like game. It is it's very own original concept and it executes it wonderfully. Great solo or with others, with engaging combat, enemy design, visuals, puzzles and boss fights, and hidden rewards to find all around.

Highly recommend Remnant 2.
