Ok so I said I'd re-write the review to positive if my opinion changed, and thanks to the new updates it has and for the better. :)

If your a fan of 80's slasher films you might want to give this game a look, it captures the aesthetic well and the unique things it brings help set it apart from other asymetrical horror games. If you though Dead by Daylight is too slow pace then the more action packed gameplay of Last Year may appeal to you.

So this game is good and can be a lot of fun but it has a catch... you need to know what your doing, and that can take a while to learn, from when to engage, when to run, to wen to make a rescue attempt it all comes with practice and experience. I'd say a tutorial level would help a lot with this but an intro video for Survivors and Fiends would also do the job and be easier to make.

If you have friends and your looking for a fun game to play together, this is a pretty good shout, or if you dont and you like the idea of killing people... first of all stay away from me, but you can still enjoy this game too.

My only faults with the game that aren't balanced based come from a lack of lore in the game, I'm a big sucker for lore especially around supernatural games and I think a nice injection of story would be nice, who are these kids?, why are they in some sort of nightmare dimension?, what's behind all this?, why cant anybody blink? so many questions.

I think with time this game could become something pretty special, the new content updates seem exciting and I hope that after a few seasons this game will have an impressive roster of maps, killers and cosmetics.
Time will tell but keep doing what your doing devs and I'll try and support you where I can. :D
