Played it just out of curiosity before it got remastered but got surprised at how immersive the mechanics were.

The dificulty escalates quite well & there is always something new to keep things fresh.

Extremely fun due to the variety of moves, items and styles you get (It takes a little while to unlock them with extras)

It started with an weak story but near the end it got better.
