Early Access Review
Deep Rock Galactic is a great combination of mission-based spelunking and bug murdering fps gunplay.

Levels are randomly generated caves which rarely feel repetitive, and with the inclusion of non-essential goodies such as gold and rare gems to mine there is always incentive to fully explore the terrain.

Roles are spread fairly across four classes which each have their own special weaponry and utilities which help in tackling
the challenges of exploration and combat, including zip-line launchers, platform generators and auto-turrets.

Progression is measured by both the amount of upgrades unlocked by each individual classes, as well as a total level which includes individual level progress with each class. In the realm of cosmetics there are unlockable options for hairstyles, beards, armor and more, which leaves plenty of room for meaningful gameplay even after mastery of a class.

While this game is currently still in early access the developers have shown a constant passion for improving on what is currently available and the drive to continue to add more content and features as the months go on.

Deep Rock Galactic overall is a fantastic game, especially for its comparatively low price at $25, and shows promise for a bright future of updates.
