Well that's interesting. I've never really paid much attention. I did notice that the summer sales have something to do with that, but I just sell the cards and make .85 cents instead of doing anything with them. Worth it.

Yeah, Steam Community Involvement or something...it affects your "Steam Level" which really is completely pointless (I think the only advantage is that you can have a larger friends list, the higher your level), but bigger numbers are better, and anything I can do to obsessively compulsively raise numbers, the better.
