Overall, I did enjoy this game. It does feel like a natural progression from Frostpunk 1, in terms of scale. In both games, resource management is important and have far-reaching consequences if you do not manage it well. I do agree with some reviews that in Frostpunk 2, you don't feel as attached to the individuals when compared to Frostpunk 1. People, at least to a degree, are just numbers. But I did enjoy the statements from individual characters in the game in general. However, when I finished the main story, I wouldn't help but wonder if I did my best, or whether I did the right thing. All I could say was an attempt was made. I would argue there was an emotional attachment involved in Frostpunk 2, but not to the individual. Rather, I felt more attached to the city itself. Achieving that isn't easy and I do applaud 11-Bit Studios for taking a risk here. The game did do a good job at making things feel desperate near the end but I do admit, the music wasn't as noticeable for some reason.

Overall I did like the game, but I am not sure I liked this game as much as Frostpunk 1. I really do enjoy the lore however.

I loved this game. The humor is awesome and I almost played this entire game in one sitting. It has great character development as well. The battles were challenging but not frustrating, and the interface is very easy to navigate. The controls are very simple as well. You can jump into the game very easily and quickly as a result. Highly recommended.

Glad that Sony backpedaled on their PSN account mandate. The CEO has done their best to support the community as well and even gave us advice on how we can fight back. As a result, WE WON.

As for the game itself, it's a lot of fun. You can shoot bugs and humanoid machines with impunity. The friendly fire is hilarious too. It tickles my nostalgia for Starship Troopers and Terminator.

In a nutshell, this game gives you an excuse to kill without feeling guilty for it!

You crash land on a planet, only to exploit its resources, pollute the environment, and kill the natives for your benefit. I love it.
