H1Z1, so far so good. Smaller map than DayZ means more action. I usually play PVE which means you're against zombie threat, but people also like PVP and Battle Royale modes. PVP is standard stuff and BR is a mode where you need to kill or be killed - it's a straightforward PVP timed mode.
There are people claiming there are hackers all around, I've never met any.
Less buggy, really atmospheric, easier to learn than DayZ. It's not pay to win as many would claim. I would certainly recommend you getting it if you want zombie survival - no way you should get DayZ before this.
You can craft stuff, build bases, make food and even get infected by zombie virus and turn into zombie (added today!)
