Every single aspect of this game has been made with such love and care that it has become a virtually perfect game. And then it goes and adds a ton of expansions of the same quality (and are free).

I have a lot of fond memories of playing this game on Xbox back in the day, but sadly, it should've stayed at that. The presentation of it all still does it for me (although it feels a bit obnoxious now that I'm older) but everything else has aged terribly.

A game made with so much love that it makes you think the minor technical difficulties are pretty cute. This old folks tale turned documentary turned game is the new pinnacle in edutainment, ♥♥♥♥ Freddy Fish.

It's utterly unbelievable how much they've improved on the original: OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood (yeah, it's a bit of a dumb name but whatever) has tighter controls, a more refined and focused artstyle, a more complete combo system and a killer soundtrack. What remained more or less the same is the no-nonsense difficulty of the first, so if you can stomach monstrous amounts of trial and error (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robot levels seriously), there's no reason why you shouldn't fall in love with this game.

Therapeutic, hypnotic, and for some reason never frustrating despite being more trial & error than OlliOlli. A great reflex game à la Super Hexagon but with more heart.

It's pretty good, but it'll also make you hate ninjas. You decide if that's worth it.

While the Twin Peaksesque atmosphere and narrative of this game is definetely intriguing, the combat sure as hell isn't. It's dull, overly repetitive and highly unimaginative. I uninstalled it after the second chapter, of which there are six.

However, I'm looking forward to watching the story (and the Night Springs... series, similar to Max Payne's Adress Unknown) unfold on YouTube. So, if you think you can stomach its gameplay, definitely go for it.

A fun little puzzler that lacks difficulty and levels.
