Love it.

I've not once regretted spontaneously starting an AS session.

One of the few games you actually burst out laughing regularly while playing because pretty much everything about is it absurd.
Fun gameplay, but that's not necessarily what you stay for.

I tried to like this game, and it is somewhat intriguing at first, but its novelty wears off really fast.
The often mentioned facial expressions aren't all that great, much less do they help in the interrogations. Which are kind of boring and seem random at times. The "acting" may be great "for a computer game" (and I wouldn't even agree to that), but it's still crappy overall and somewhat in uncanny valley.
There is a certain open-world element to the game, but you have to wonder why exactly. You need to get from A to B and get to collect sightseeing places on the way, as well as some - again random - mini side missions. After a while, the driving around is just a waste of time; much less fun than I had in, say, Mafia.
The cases themselves are somewhat nicely written, but they drag on and on because the on-site investigation is a point-and-click minigame at heart, which results in walking around every corner of houses and picking up the most irrelevant items to avoid missing any clue. Not to mention the often atrocious camera (hello console port) which often hinders you doing stuff you don't really want to be doing anyway.

It's just boring overall.

This game is awesome.
I used to not touch MMORPGs with a ten foot pole and dislike computer RPGs in general, but TSW is very well done and TSW works perfectly even as a pure SP experience.
I love the Lovecraftian setting and how it's worked out, the writing is great, genius at times.

If you want to give it a go, let me know your email address and I can send you an invite for a 72 hour tryout.

It's fun, it's addictive, it's tough.
If you don't pause during battles, you die.
It you do pause during battles, you die later ;)

Fun and free.
Give us more maps and we'd keep playing.

Great game again.
I was a bit concerned if it would manage to keep up the high standard set by Arkham Asylum, but it does.

I first dismissed what I heard about it too, but this is really unbelievably genuinely scary.
You'll have to take breaks because you can't take any more.
