BF 2042 has come along way since launch it and is actually a very polished game. It looks amazing, the gun-play is fantastic, and it's for the most part fun to play (albeit a little frustrating at times - Grenade spam - vehicles - occasional cheater). Had it been released in it's current form, it may well of been very successful! For the current asking price of £7.99 it's definitely worth a few hours of your time, it's a pretty decent shooter.

First Impressions are good. Normal early release bugs/crashes/balance issues, but not unplayable by any means. Gameplay is exactly as advertised, siding more on competitive play as opposed to casual...arcade mode still offers something for everyone though.
