This game is getting a bad wrap. I'll say this up front. Yes, the need to be online for single player is annoying, the servers are ass when transferring between realms.

That said, this game is an absolute blast to get lost in. The crafting system is unique and complex. There is little info about the game out right now, so the level of discovery is top notch. You have to try things for yourself, which is quite enticing.

All in all, I can see this game turning into something even more special as it's developed.

Enjoyable game, but needs to have the Aim With Mouse option in this mode and not just the full game.

As much as I would love to recommend this game, my PC with a 4090, 32 GB RAM and a ryzen 7950x is crashing on this game, all the time. I have went through hours of troubleshooting, turning setting off, capping FPS, updating a clean install of the GFX drivers (that I clean install every update anyways) - and I am still crashing at random. Could be 10 minutes into the game, could be 1 hour into the game. There are still no solutions that have worked, and I have tried.

THIS GAME IS SHUTTING DOWN. Do not buy this. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company, snail games/WildCard, lied about ARK 2, and are now shutting down old ARK to release ARK ascended, where we all have to buy the game again... ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Don't trust this company. Not to mention, many years of janky code, unfixed glitches, and shoddy work I was willing to dig through to reach the gem beneath the game. But this was the last straw.

EDIT: There will still be the ability to play on Privately hosted servers, but no official support going forward.

This game is amazingly fun. To my surprise, I can almost always find a group of at least 4-5 to run with and it's a BLAST. Even playing solo is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. The build concepts are pretty dang diverse. All around a lot of fun, and the devs definitely show it a lot of love.

WARNING! While I do recommend this game with the hopes that the devs will add a LOT more content... It's just that. I can 100% win the round every run after my first 3ish runs? I won't spoil how I did it, but let's just say, there isn't just one way to win every time. I tried it with numerous builds, and the last 3 runs I was doing just to get some more unlocks to test different weapons.

Either way, this is a great 'shell' of a game. I hope to see a LOT more from it, and for 2.99, I can't complain.

Quite a fun game! Similar vein to Vampire Survivors, but definitely stands on its own two feet! Highly recommend it, especially for the price.

Greed kills this game. I spent quite a bit of money on this game between expansions and the season passes, but trying to come back after a couple of years - to get caught up on the content I am forced to either buy the $80 deluxe edition, or spend another $70 on the content I missed, and that's not counting if I wanted to get the season pass loot.

Avoid getting sucked into this money pit. It's a fun game, but they are greedy. Past content I've bought isn't discounted from the new Deluxe edition... and the content is still expensive.

Fun game! Definitely a high skill ceiling, but they have a great practice tool, and the solo death-match mode are great for honing your combat skills.

Fun, fast paced action. Enjoyable classes. Overall a great game.
