Update: I didn't recommend this game because of the incredibly incomplete state at the time. But since then they have come a long way and I can recommend this game now. Its quite fun now, one of the better games of it's variety.

Original review with updates:
$25 will buy you five large cups of coffee. I would rather have the coffee than this game.

+An interesting game that has potential if the devs come through on their promises
+Lots of possibilities for creative projects
+The best minecraft clone out there that isn't trying to be minecraft
+A nice aesthetic
Update: They have really started to flesh things out and have made several improvements and additions to the game.

-Characters move super slow even during fast forward speeds
Update: They have added a double fast speed which is fine.

-You start with a map of the generated world, then must choose a terribly small section of it to be your entire game world.
Update: Still a problem

-The building system is difficult and unforgiving. Small mistakes means you have to scrap the entire building plan (alpha issue)
Update: Its still hard to make anything truely grand or interesting but at least they have made some progress. It used to be that complex projects couldnt even be built because the npcs just didn't have the brains to figure out how to build a second floor, they that can.

-Very unstable with frequent bugs ending entire game worlds (alpha issue)
Update: Very rarely see errors and never world ending bugs.

-Currently a very real lack of content outside of the buggy building system (alpha issue)
UpdateL They're adding content slowly but its being done.

-The game has been in dev for five years but they are still in the alpha stages and they have announced that they intend to start making other games. They've really done a good job keeping frequent contact with the community but I'm worried they will eventually abandon this project all together if the seams cant hold it together.
Update: Two years later and they're still in alpha. I still don't think they'll ever finish.
