Each game by this dev feels better than the last, while still retaining a lot of the same feel and vibes.

Like Islets, this game is very smooth to play and explore. There's paths branching out in every direction and it was pure dopamine uncovering every last room and collectable.

If you're struggling, there's a shop where you can pay to reveal a missing item or important location to visit. It is very easy to 100% the game because of this. I got stuck on one puzzle and one cryptic bit at the end though, which I had to look up, but otherwise I was able to figure everything out pretty easily. The only QoL issue I ran into was that scrolling around on the map screen was too slow.

The pet owner in me loved the cutesy pet-centric storytelling, it was wholesome and at times sad. The plot had me wondering what was really going on too.

I wasn't fond of the composers work on the previous games but he's finally won me over with this title, with plenty of chill tunes that stuck in my head.

I'd recommend this to all fans of metroidvanias & Zelda-likes, it's one of the best games to come out this year for me.
