great game but i think being verified for steam deck is pushing the truth a bit.. as far as functionality it works on the deck no problem but even with everything on low it still struggles to stay north of 30 fps along with stuttering and fps loss for no reason that carry over to the desktop no matter what specs you have.
Not worth60 usd + tax especially with no quidditch (thats another game for more $$$) and the current list of issues and bugs that i dont want to get into a rant about..
Bottom line,
good game with some issues (seems to be a industry standard now) and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse not to include quidditch but in its stead make it another game barely gets it a recommendation in its current state and a "get it on sale" additionally if you plan on only playing it on the SD i would pass for now or wait for fsr3 to be patched in (if that ever happens) other handhelds with a bit more power and a windows os may fair a bit better but this is a title fitted for your more standard platforms (xbox,ps,pc)

Despite its launch issues (i personally did not own or play the SC upgrade/edition at that point) this is a decent upgrade over the original visually as well as running MUCH better than the original particularly the steam deck!! original ran low\med 15-30 fps SC ultra\very high everything with post fx at high at 25-40 fps (i cap at 40) fsr at quality makes it a solid 40fps 95 percent of the time. also lock gpu at 1600. i recommend this version over the original especially for the steam deck although i would say its not worth the 60 usd price tag, i got it half off for 33 after tax and i believe that 33 usd after tax is a decent price for this title.

great millsim

this would be a decent remaster if it didnt crash every second and have lighting issues that should have been worked out way way way back in development... it seems to be a one or two man project with quality being what it is on the back end and visuals alike (lighting) other then that i think the remake is ok if the above issues are overlooked hopfully 2k can patch this mess they have managed to make, fix their rep, and this great game
