i found out good old Huck finally got a ban now.
6 month "community ban" for "copyright infringement complaints".
his shenanigans finally catching up to him.
but apparently that "Terminus" user and at least one other...
they're using ZeqMacaw's "Crowbar" program to upload larger VPK.
apparently Zeq's program bypasses Steam and L4D2's authoring tools.
not sure if Steam and the Authoring Tools naturally allow this yet.
supposedly Zeq found a way with Crowbar and himself though.
you're right though, why not just inform the original authors and creators.
