It was an impulse buy and I'm glad I did! Growing up, one of my favourite games was Total Annihilation. I am very impressed with the level of polish in this game. I have not encountered a single crash on my laptop, nor have I noticed any lag, even with hundreds of creatures swarming the base.
The environment is rich in variety and detail. I like that you don't lose your base that you built as you progress through a campaign.

Probably the best tower defense games I've played. The difficulty scales nicely and always something different about the next level to keep you interested.
