Although this game and Arma 2 are good standalone games the thing that stands out the most are the mods.... Specifically Dayz, although buggy because it is only in Alpha stage, Dayz is the most intense, realistic, and exciting game I've ever played. I have never played a game where I'm scared of gunshots, and the unknown. You get this sort of nerdy adrenaline rush because you're afraid of dieing and losing all of the weapons and equipment you have found.... It's not necessarily zombies that make this game so amazing, its the survivors.
