Simply put, this is the reason you need to dust off your steam link. <Insert friends> for a couch based frantic brawl with a thoughtful approach to keeping everyone engaged through evolving monsters and ingenious traps you can possess to hamper that pesky hero type. I enjoy playing as the monsters more than the heroes (as do many of us I suspect!). Invest friends! Amazing soundtrack and sound direction on this, it's a love letter to the coin-op days and wouldn't look out of place at one either.

Just yes, fantastic throw back to games like Star Control, it has had a lot of love from the developers, it's on my todo list to replay all the way through again.

With a learning curve that makes Mount kilimanjaro look like a walk in the park, DOTA2 is punishingly hard, requiring Sun Tzu levels of strategy to master, the highest duration clocked on Dotabuff.com moves in excess of 147 days of play!

I promise you will never concentrate so hard on a game as you will with DOTA2. So why play this monstrosity? When the team work pays off, when things go to plan, when you get that first RAMPAGE*... you'll be begging for more. Play with friends, don't be afraid to communicate and support your team, this game has a rush like no other.

This will jump you back in time to when games like Dungeon Master, Bloodwych, Eye of the Beholder ruled the roost, this is a very atmospheric game, punishingly hard at times with puzzles that'll have you banging your head on the table... But, it is very engaging and rewarding. This game will make you jump as you concentrate very hard on the distant sounds of shuffling monsters, great game and there's more content to come. Excellent graphics and sound with simple controls.
